The epistles in the New Testament also known as the New Covenant after the time of Yahshua Christ are addressed to the Israelites; We can especially read this in the first paragraphs of the epistles of Peter, James, John, and Jude.
When Yahshua Christ was walking on earth the Israelites, the ten tribes and part of the two tribes, Judah and Benjamin, and the Levites were scattered abroad. The so-called gentiles, they, in fact, were Israelites living elsewhere. They became other nations. The eleven apostles knew this fact. When we don’t take a closer look, the word gentile is rather confusing.
When Yahshua Christ fulfilled His work on the cross. Yahweh God has breached the gap between Him and Israel. Israel was the other fold that was scattered and is now brought back to the fold by the suffering of Yahshua Christ on the cross, His Death, and His Resurrection.
1Peter 1:1 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers (=Israelites) scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia.
1Peter 2:9-10 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: 10/ Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
- Exodus 19:6 And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.

Jude 1:3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
John 10:16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. 17/ Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.
Genesis 49:1-2/ And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days. 2/ Gather yourselves together, and hear, ye sons of Jacob; and hearken unto Israel your father.
Ezekiel prophesying during the Babylonian captivity of the House of Judah. The House of Israel already had been taken captive more than a century previous. Yahweh God is showing Ezekiel in which the spiritual and physical condition Israel is in. Israel was migrating crossing the Caucasus mountains. Israel would come spiritually alive and get their blessing in the latter days.
Likewise, Israel formed nations and became a political entity, but there was no spiritual life.
Ezekiel 37:8 And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them.
In the valley of dry bones, the vision Ezekiel saw was the scattered Israelites. They are now scattered throughout North and Western Europe. They were/are taking on pagan religions.
Ezekiel 37:9-10 Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live. 10/ So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.
“Your own land” the land that Nathan prophesied to David in 2Samuel 7:10 Moreover I will appoint a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own, and move no more; neither shall the children of wickedness afflict them any more, as beforetime. (Part 2 From Judges to Captivity of Both Houses)
Ezekiel 37:14 And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD.
Ezekiel 37:18 And when the children of thy people shall speak unto thee, saying, Wilt thou not shew us what thou meanest by these? 19/ Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.
The two Houses once divided will again be one House.
Ezekiel 37:19 Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.
